About
Kye Nam (real name: Park Kye Nam) is an artist whose work expresses the wonders of nature and the serenity he encounters in his travels and daily life. In particular, he has drawn attention to the llamas he encountered in South America, which used to live as livestock in the Andean highlands, and in his work, he expresses their unconstrained freedom as if they were on a journey of their own, giving the viewer a sense of serenity in nature. The artist aims to tell the story of a simple and free life that allows people to listen to their hearts and nature in the midst of today's exhausting daily life.

For her, the world is full of many wonders. The mountains and fields, the tiny flowers and weeds that grow there, each have their own unique beauty. In his travels, he mentions that he is inspired by exotic and unique things such as different types of birds, the wild vicuñas of the Andes, the great whales of Sri Lanka, the tanned skin of Indian women, and traditional clothing with floral and animal patterns. In other words, Kyenam's work ranges from the abstract, such as the gaze of an animal he encounters or the smell of an old village, to the tranquil and rich feelings he receives from the great outdoors, such as walking alone in the forest or singing in the sea.
